Primary Engineering Awards Winner

We are very proud that Joshua, of Year Five, is one of only two winners in his age group in the Primary Enginerring Young Leaders Awards. A tremendous achievement, thoroughly deserved for his imaginative invention.

High Standards, Fast Progress

Our results for 2016/17 showed our leavers last year reached standards among the top 6% of the country, borne of a rate of progress at Hey with Zion in the top 3% of schools nationally. I am proud of our pupils and thank the staff and pupils’ families for the hard work and support which make this success possible.  We are very hopeful that we can maintain this standard this year too!

Science

We have very close links with Oldham Regional Science Centre and our junior classes have visited the centre on several occassions for workshops covering a variety of topics.

We have also had Chemistry with Cabbage in school which is a very interesting scientific workshop!
