  • Hey with Zion is registered as a National Online safety school.
    This allows, among other things, parents to access FREE training to keep them up to date with esafety issues which may be relevant for their children.
  • National Sports Heritage Day
    Every half term of this academic year we will be asking classes to spend at least one lessons looking into the heritage of the sport they are currently doing in PE.
  • Silver Geography Association Award
    Hey with Zion has been awarded the prestigious silver award by the Geography Association.
  • Our MP in School
    Max, of Year Five, has been invited to join the U.K. Children’s Parliament as the sole representative of the Oldham East and Saddleworth constituency.
  • Our Children's Work in Print!
    Our children's work has been included in a couple of Geography teacher training books: "Leading Primary Geography" and "The Everyday Guide To Primary Geography".
  • EU Settlement Scheme
    There are growing concerns locally and nationally that elderly people, some who may have lived in the UK for many years, have not applied to the scheme.
  • Congestion on Rowland Way
    A complaint has been received by Oldham Council, stating an allegation that there has been congestion (not following social distancing rules) on Rowland Way.
  • Primary Science Quality Mark
    Hey with Zion has been awarded the University of Hertfordshire's Primary Science Quality Mark again. We first won it in 2016 and are delighted to have renewed it until 2023.
  • Inclusive School Award
    We are very proud to be able to tell you that Hey with Zion has been awarded the Inclusive Schools Award.
  • Paying Online via ParentMail
    The introduction of ParentMail has gone very well and we are virtually paperless in our communications which is saving funds and time which benefits the school in all areas. However, the uptake of online payments has not been so successful.
